ST. PAT's BURGER CHALLENGE

On March 15th, 2008 Nagoya-Life held a St. Patrick's Day theme party. Many guests were decked out in green for the occasion and a great time was had by all. The highlight of the evening was the Shooters Burger Challenge!
Mr. Hiromichi Goto accepted the challenge to finish a 2KG hamburger in 1 hour.  Mr. Goto didn't quite make it, but we blame that on a late start...you see he had already began eating from our delicious buffet! Better luck next time. Thanks to Shooters for the MEGA BURGER!

Nagoya-Life Rocks The RED ROCK

On January 19th, 2008 Nagoya-Life celebrated our 3rd anniversary. This was our first party at The RED ROCK and we were very pleased with a big turnout! It was nice to see many new faces along with familar ones and we were especially pleased to see so many long-time supporters of our parties in the crowd. The RED ROCK delighted our guests with a veritable gourmet feast - far exceeding our expectations!
The mixer game consisted of a scavenger hunt for koalas with the final winners decided by playing jun kan poi. Prizes given away included 5 gift certificates to The RED ROCK, dinner for 2 at MISFITS, English Lessons from T.T.M., and of course our party mainstay...an Apple iPod!

We Wish You A Merry Christmas

Our annual Christmas Mixer Party was a nice, intimate affair attended by around 90 people. Stiff competetion for the annual Christmas quiz game meant we had to settle an 8-way tie with musical chairs (always exciting after a few drinks)! In addition to our regular prizes and activities, this year we asked our guests to bring a present to be given to one of 150 orphans in the Nagoya area - in support of a campaign by TTM English. Our guests brought several wrapped gifts for the cause and also raised 50,000 Yen in cash to by presents. Thanks to our guests for the great support of a great cause!

A Fine Day in the Park

This was Nagoya-Life's first ever outdoor party (held at Shonai Ryokuchi Koen). The Weather Gods cooperated by turning up the heat on what had been a winter-like week up to the day before. We were blessed with sunny skies and enough heat for party guests to enjoy one last nice day in the park this year. Shooters provided a turkey dinner that couldn't be beat and had party-goers lining up for seconds. Sushi Cabaret Club was there to entertain the guests all afternoon rounding out an all-round great event.
