Christmas Fun with Nagoya-Life

It was a festive and fun Nagoya-Life Christmas Party at Shooters on Saturday, December 23rd.  There were many new faces enjoying the festive atmosphere and good times at the party among the 115 people who attended.  Of special note was the unofficial record for most people in Nagoya singing a Christmas Carol at the same time with a wonderful rendition of We Wish You A Merry Christmas.   

As always, the food and drink supplied by Shooters and their wonderful staff was enjoyed by all.  The mixer game highlighted the international flavor that exists at each and every Nagoya-Life Mixer Party.  Each team was given a list of Merry Christmas and Happy New Year in ten different languages which they had to correctly match.  Seven teams correctly matched all ten and so a second game was needed to decide a winner.  The setting was perfect for a quick game of musical chairs and the winning team members didn't disappoint.  Right til the final two contenders the action was pure entertainment.  After a dramatic final round the winning team Blitzen took home 1,500 gift certificates from Shooters courtesy of Nagoya-Life.

Individual prizes were also handed out to our door prize winners including two giant bottles of Heineken beer from Shooters to Hiroshi and Ritsuko  The next winner was Toru taking home the 10,000 gift certificate from BEST Australia and the grand prize winner of a brand new Apple iPod was Chika Isobe.

Just as the party was winding down, Santa Claus made a surprise visit greeting the guests and posing for pictures.  What kind of party would it be without Santa Claus!!! 

After the party was over a second party was held at Ten Dollar Bar across from the Hilton Hotel where the guests enjoyed another 3 hours of fun and good times along with some interesting karaoke singing.

Nagoya-Life thanks everyone who came to our Christmas Party and everyone who supported us during 2006.  We look forward to seeing you at our 2nd Anniversary Party on January 20th that will include special prizes and recognition for guests and as always, a great time for everyone!
